 Welcome to Wisdom Bears 

My Bears are from a Smoke -Free environment.

I have been designing and displaying bears here in Scotland for over 11 years now and have enjoyed it very much.  After looking through the many websites of other bear makers around the country I thought it was about time a site was made up for the Wisdom Bears collection.  Most of the bears range from 4 inches to 28 inches in height and each of them have their own unique looks and personality. I like to think I create a high quality bear that will last a lifetime.

 I studied Textiles, and after 3 years at College I qualified as a Tailoress / Designer. I designed and stitched Wedding Attire for a good number of years. I have been a keen Crafter and Cross-Stitcher all of my life, and have tried a good many crafts before I first made a teddy bear in 1997. I could not believe how addictive it would become. Now I read ,eat and sleep teddy-bears as well as finding time to create and sew my new bears .I love doing special bears as it gives me more scope to dress my creations.

 My Bears have been featured in Teddy Bear Times, Teddy Bear Scene and Teddy Bear Club International. My bears have now found homes in most countries around the World   I do hope you enjoy my site.
